Tarah Hines

House Manager for Community Roots Collective

Rah, 28 years old, is originally from Newburgh, NY. She moved to Tampa when she was 9 and a half and graduated from Tampa Preparatory School in 2007.

While attending Pitzer College for her B.A, she was introduced to social justice, grassroots organizing, and environmental justice. These ideals have driven her every move since. After graduating from Pitzer in 2011, she simultaneously enrolled in Marylhurst University's Green MBA program and Grow Permaculture's design certification where she learned about sustainable business, self-reliance and designing for various communities.

Rah is an advocate for self-reliance, holistic wellness, food and environmental justice as means for uplifting individuals, activating communities and restoring the Earth. She is an organizer, connector, and healer and very excited to be a part of Community Roots Collective!

Be sure to welcome Rah when you see her and let her know how you'd like to become involved at the Roots!
