There's been so much happening behind the scenes here at the Community Roots Collective that we have been itching to share with you for so long! The time is finally here to let the cat out of the bag!
Beginning December 1st, you may now find the Community Roots Collective at 2746 N Florida Ave, Tampa 33602. We are going to miss our old big house on Palm and the memories made there SO MUCH but it is time to be moving on. We are still going to be in our fav neighborhood Tampa Heights, really just down the street! You may know our neighbors- Lucky Cat Yoga and illsol. If not, you should definitely check them out when you come by.
We're moving in with some new folks!
We are very excited to announce that the Green Mommy Store is moving into the Roots! We are so happy to have a baby store back in house again and we know all our families will benefit from having her close by. She will continue to provide her standard Green Mommy expertise and natural parenting goodies, like baby carriers, cloth diapers, amber necklaces, and more.
Barefoot Birth will continue to see patients and host events at their in-house office.
Rachel Diaz will continue to offer massage therapy services at her studio.
Jen Morrison of Magical Moments Breastfeeding will have her own office and continue to bring classes and lactation support to the community. Keep a look out for her new schedule.
We will have more community space and outdoor space!
We are grateful to have a larger community space available for special event rentals and community gatherings. The outdoor space will also come in handy for those growing, spirited kids to get out some energy! Look out for some new meetups with that in mind.
With all changes, there are growing pains, and boy, do we have a doozy. Since there is no studio space at our new location, Sweet Plum Photography will no longer have an in house studio. We are heart broken not to have her amazing services so close but she is always available for on location shoots so be sure to keep showing her the love!
Barefoot Herbals will also no longer have a shop space. However, Jenn will still be making her hand-made goodies to have around the Roots and by special order. Be sure to check in when you're there to see if she's got her amazing tinctures, salves, or elderberry syrup on hand!
We will be indoctrinating the new space with a Grand Re-Opening and 'Support Local' Holiday Market on Sunday December 17 from 12-4pm. Mark your calendars!
Come check out the new space and support some local makers for your holiday shopping.
Thanks for hanging with us throughout this changing time and we hope to see all of you at our re-opening and regularly scheduled classes and events. You can check out our schedule at our website or our Facebook page. We've got some more new things rolling out in the new year so stay tuned!
As always, we welcome your comments, suggestions, and requests so get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org. We appreciate you!! XO
