We Accept Medicaid!

You can utilize coverage via Florida Medicaid through Sunshine or Simply health plans with our practice for our prenatal and postpartum care!

While homebirth is self pay only, you can have the same personalized prenatal and postpartum experience with a planned hospital delivery.

Visits are scheduled in 30-60 minute slots where you will meet face to face with your actual midwife. No support staff juggling, no rushing, just a you-centered visit to discuss concerns, clinical care, and perform routine checks throughout your entire pregnancy and postpartum period. We like to see folks for at least 2 visits postpartum but there is flexibility if you need more support with breastfeeding or adjusting to life with a newborn! Regardless of your plans for birth we are happy to support you in making informed decisions along the way. VBAC? Planned Cesarean? Special considerations for a newborn? Unmedicated vaginal delivery? The education we provide in our longer visits helps to set you up for a better experience overall regardless of your intention for your delivery!

Medicaid covers all labwork, ultrasound, and visits at 100%. This is a great option for families wishing to plan for a low intervention birth in a hospital setting. We often try and pair our Medicaid clients with a grant funded doula program or if finances allow they have the option to work with us for midwife as labor support in a hospital setting.
