Welcome Nelivette “Neli” Flores, LM CPM, our new Tampa Midwife!
We are over the moon to welcome Nelivette Flores, LM, CPM to the team. Neli was trained with our sister practice Lakeland Midwifery and will be serving our families from a new Brandon office as well as Tampa and St Pete. We are thrilled to have a native Spanish speaker on staff to serve our communities who have previously lacked access. We cannot wait for you to met her!
With a passion for supporting families through every stage of their journey, Neli brings both heart and knowledge to her work as a midwife. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida and is a graduate of the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery, where she trained in holistic, hands-on, and patient-centered care. She began her journey into the birth world in 2021 while supporting her sister-in-law with the birth of her nephew.
Neli is all about creating a space where families feel safe, supported, and truly heard. As a Spanish-speaking provider, she cares deeply about serving Spanish speaking families and making sure they feel comfortable, understood, and confident every step of the way. She takes a gentle, personalized approach to care and believes every birth experience should be respected and tailored to each family’s needs and values.
Outside of her work, Neli enjoys reading, staying active, and making time for her own wellness.
Nelivette Flores obtuvo su bachillerato en Salud Pública en la University of South Florida, donde desarrolló una profunda vocación por la salud materna, con énfasis en comunidades hispanas y afroamericanas.
Cuenta con experiencia como doula y obtuvo su licencia de partera a través de la Florida School of Traditional Midwifery.
Se dedica a ofrecer educación prenatal y acompañamiento durante el parto, brindando apoyo a familias que optan tanto por partos en el hospital como en el hogar.
En su tiempo libre, disfruta de la lectura y de continuar ampliando sus conocimientos para promover su bienestar personal y profesional.
