Homeschool Fun will be meeting here at the CRC the second Monday of every month from 11-1pm! Hosted by Jennifer Pedraza, Homeschool Fun will explore math, science, and literacy! Each month a new theme will be explored with activities targeted for elementary age students. Younger and older siblings are welcome to join, too! This is a free class, but make sure to read the fb event for information on any materials you may need to bring for your children.

HIBERNATION & MIGRATION – Although animals in Florida don’t really hibernate, we do see a lot of migratory animals. This month we’ll explore which animals migrate and which animals hibernate and how they prepare for each. We’ll learn how the extra fat hibernating animals acquire help to keep them warm. The kids will also have the opportunity to make some (peanut free) bird seed feeders for migrating birds.
