Homeschool Fun will be meeting here at the CRC the second Monday of every month from 11-1pm! Hosted by Jennifer Pedraza, Homeschool Fun will explore math, science, and literacy! Each month a new theme will be explored with activities targeted for elementary age students. Younger and older siblings are welcome to join, too! This is a free class, but make sure to read the fb event for information on any materials you may need to bring for your children.

LEAVES – It’s fall! This month the kids will have an opportunity to explore different types of leaves & seeds. We’ll do a simple experiment to introduce chlorophyll and its role in why leaves change color. We’ll also have a variety of leaves for leaf rubbings & leaf art. 

**We will have some leaves, but please consider going on a walk and collecting some leaves for this activity! Leaves from the tree or those you find on the ground are fine. If you can lay them on a paper towel and cover with a book or other heavy object, they will get nice and flat and perfect for our activities.
