This film has come at a time when homebirth popularity is on the rise. 

Nurse practitioner Jessicca Moore doesn't fit the image of a home birth mom. But she and many of her medical colleagues -- doctors, nurses and midwives -- are choosing to give birth at home instead of the hospital. 

In her new film called "Why Not Home?" Moore explores what's behind their decisions, from an OB/GYNs concerns about hospitals labor-timing protocols, high rates of infection, induction and cesareans, to a nurses lament about how much time she spends with charts, computers and paperwork, to others wanting the same caregiver for their entire pregnancy, birth and postpartum period.
